" The students at Nova Eisenhower Elementary in Davie are lucky with the experience brought by, Heal the Planet, SEED Project. They wait attentively and look forward to the weekly lesson that most are not normally exposed to. This project brings students and teachers together to learn about nutrition, fitness and the importance of each. Students are taught how they can make/have an impact on our world and understand the sustainable resources available to all of us. The hands-on food preparation, lessons and fitness activities are engaging. The room is filled with energy, curiosity and the faces of bright minds ready to absorb the weekly message.”

Thank you for teaching my students about healthy food choices. They said they will miss the program and they really liked trying new foods. "It was fun". I think they learned a lot about making better snack choices and can now identify what is a better choice even if they don't choose to put down the Takis. Some of them were really interested in the recipes so they could try them at home. I wish all my students could have participated but that would have been better if it was in my classroom.

I LOVE Young SEEDs! I have three home-schooled children ages 4, 6, and 8. We heard about Young SEEDs from a Facebook group and have been coming ever since. It's been almost a year and I can say it's been such a blessing to have this program as part of our learning experience. All the women facilitating have such a beautiful light about them. They are really passionate about teaching children to live an intentional, healthy, and holistic life. I know a program like this could be expensive and out of our league if they charged. I am so glad this is a donation-based program that my children can benefit from. What Ms. Noelia and her Heal the Planet team are teaching really gives me so much hope for the future of the world my children will grow up in.

The old proverb that says, "It takes a village to raise a child.” There are few times in life you meet people who can impact your children's lives. Coach Ayenza is one of them. Kameron-Avery has fallen in love with throwing the discus.  She was there, right at that moment when he threw down that shot put and said "I give up!" With a gentle spirit, she called him and introduced him to the discus and he has been spinning ever since! He won the Bethany Championship 2 years in a row! He is one of the youngest-ranked discus throwers!

She has not only invested in my son but also my daughter Kirsten-Paige who has also made it to the AAU championships. Ayenza’s timely words of encouragement and coaching skills are priceless and I am forever grateful.

I cannot recommend them enough. They have visited for 6 days covering SEL and healthy lifestyle (decision making, sleep, eating) that involves cooking and sampling healthy recipes. We have had two days so far of activities including taking pride in yourself, problem solving, integrated science lessons, and of course making healthy smoothies and zucchini spiral “Spaghetti,” The students are highly engaged and are eating fresh food they have never eaten before."
