CARING FOR A FOOD FOREST GARDEN WORKSHOP
Caring For A Food Forest Garden
Caring for a Food Forest Garden – In this final workshop of our Food Forest Garden Series, you will gain valuable skills to care a living, food forest garden system. We will learn about integrated “pest” management, caring for unhealthy plants, and the very special, often overlooked gift of weeds and unwanted visitors in the garden. Food forest gardens are designed to require little maintenance, but you will find once you’ve created this type of space you will want to be in it, learning and growing along with the system. Human input is not required in a food forest garden once it is established, but greatly desired by it. This awareness of the value of our presence brings a deeper sense of the key role humans can play in the evolving story of life on our planet, and how we can best be of service to participate in the regeneration of flourishing life on our planet.
